File setup guidelines

Raw image files

  • Set the aspect ration of your image proportionally to the intended output size
  • Ensure that the necessary trim is included
    all around 1cm at scale 1:1

1:1 Resolution

< 3 m² = 100 dpi
< 25 m² = 72 dpi
< 50 m² = 50 dpi
> 50 m² = 35 dpi

Important: check scaled document proportions

e.g. 1:1 = 72 dpi ⇒ 1:10 = 720dpi

  • CMYK colour mode
  • JPG-file-format (image option "large document")
  • CMYK colour mode
  • TIFF-file-format with LZW-compression
  • PDF/X-3 2002/2003
  • Option: "high-quality printing"
  • Do not send open document formats
  • Do not include crop or corner marks

From layout programs, Print data, text / image layouts

Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Indesign
Corel Draw
  • Edit pictures as described above
  • Please delete all unnecessary elements and pages
  • Ensure that the necessary trim is included
    all-around 1cm at scale 1:1
  • Please convert text to paths
  • Please convert paths and vignette effects to pixel outputs whenever possible
  • PDF/X-3 2002/2003
  • Option: "high-quality printing"
  • Do not send open document formats
  • Do not include crop or corner marks
  • Do not include articial fonts (shades/outlines) or non postscript compatible filled patterns

Cut Vinyl

  • Only vector data 1:1 designs or some other logical scale
  • Please convert text to paths
  • Remove all contour outlines from shape
  • Merge overlapping layers or cut them out
  • none pixel files

Attention for system stand construction!
Please consider the 4cm gap occurred by the system post, by creating a layout bigger than one wall panel.
